Allied Commercial completed an extensive roofing repairs, maintenance, and replacement project at 464 Wynnum Road, Morningside. The project involved a comprehensive approach starting with the installation of Pole Up fall protection to meet Work Health and Safety requirements, ensuring the safety of all workers. Utilising a 35T city crane, materials were safely loaded onto the roof. The existing roof sheeting and flashings were removed, and an anti-condensation insulation blanket was installed directly under the new roofing to improve energy efficiency and reduce condensation. New roof sheets and all associated flashings were supplied and installed, along with new Zincalume Drypan flashings and UV-rated rubber Dektites to existing penetrations to prevent water ingress. The existing skylight was removed and replaced with a new skylight during the roof installation, and new Hi Front Quad gutters with droppers were installed throughout.
