Brisbane CBD — June 2023 – June 2024
Allied Commercial undertook a major refurbishment at one of Brisbane City's main centrepieces. This entailed removing around 1,300 square metres of copper roofing and installing various Colorbond roofing products across four different profiles. The project also included 1,100 square metres of Colorbond Kliplock roofing to the Level 11 and 12 roofs, 70 square metres of wall cladding to a stairwell pop-up roof, 150 square metres of Stramit far-lapping system, and 250 square metres of Lysaght 305 Architectural Longline shipped directly from Sydney. Additionally, over 330 glass panels were removed as part of the façade remediation works, with temporary hoarding installed to provide safe access during scaffolding construction. Allied also designed and installed a complete height safety system including raptor rails, anchor points, and access ladders tailored to the building's unique Level 11 ledge with rope access holes for accessing lower levels.
