Site: 464 Wynnum Road
Allied Commercial recently completed an extensive roofing repairs, maintenance, and replacement project at 464 Wynnum Road.
The project involved a comprehensive approach, starting with the installation of Pole Up fall protection to meet Work Health and Safety requirements, ensuring the safety of all workers. Utilizing a 35T City crane, materials were safely loaded onto the roof. The existing roof sheeting and flashings were removed, and a Anti-condensation Insulation Blanket was installed directly under the new roofing to improve energy efficiency and reduce condensation. New roof sheets and all associated flashings were supplied and installed, along with new Zincalume Drypan flashings and UV Rated Rubber Dektites to the existing penetrations to prevent water ingress. The project also included the removal of the existing skylight, which was replaced with a new skylight during the new roof installation. Additionally, the existing guttering and brackets were removed, and new Hi Front Quad gutters and droppers were installed.
Throughout the project, Allied Commercial adhered to strict safety protocols and quality standards, resulting in a successful and timely completion that met the client's expectations and requirements.
