320 Adelaide st Brisbane - Allied Commercial

Allied Commercial undertook a major refurbishment at one of Brisbane City's main centrepieces

This entailed removing around 1300 Square meters of copper roofing and installing various Colorbond Roofing products. Coordinating with various other trades to ensure that the client achieved the result they expected.
Some key differences with this project were as follows:

  • 4x different roofing profiles installed.
  • Installed around 1100 Square Meters of Colorbond Kliplock Roofing to the Level 11 and 12 Roofs, 70 Square meters of wall cladding to a stairwell pop up roof.
  • 150 Square metres of Stramit far lapping system.
  • 250 Square meters of Lysaght 305 Architectural Longline shipped directly from Sydney.

Challenges Faced:

  1. Inner City works involved detailed coordination with Traffic control and night time crane lifts
  2. High level work involved with Structural engineers and Hydraulic engineers to achieve standards set out
  3. Working in with Multiple trades to successfully deliver the project on time and within budget
  4. Ensuring an extremely high level of workmanship was provided while installing the various roofing products
  5. Scanning and Core Drilling for new storm water drainage
